Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Cardclub Boomerang, an exclusive offline poker venue and upscale restaurant/bar located in Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia. By entering the premises or using any services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not enter or use the venue.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By entering Cardclub Boomerang, using any of our facilities, or participating in any poker games or events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, members, guests, and participants. If you do not agree, you must leave the premises immediately. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Age and Entry Requirements (21+ Policy)

Cardclub Boomerang is an adults-only venue. You must be at least 21 years of age to enter, participate in any poker games, or consume alcohol. Valid government-issued photo identification is required upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide satisfactory proof of age. Minors are not permitted on the premises under any circumstances.

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Reservations

All bookings for poker tables, private events, and dining are subject to availability and confirmation by Cardclub Boomerang. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us. We may require a deposit or pre-payment for certain bookings. You must arrive on time; late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the booking.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for poker table bookings and 7 days in advance for private events. Cancellations made after the deadline may incur a fee. No-shows will be charged the full booking fee. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any booking due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Conduct and Responsible Play Charter

All visitors must behave respectfully and comply with all instructions from Cardclub Boomerang staff. We actively promote responsible gaming and conduct across all venue facilities. Disruptive, abusive, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Cheating or collusion in any poker game is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal and legal action. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any person from the premises at our discretion.

5. House Poker Rules and Tournaments

All poker games and tournaments at Cardclub Boomerang are conducted in accordance with our house rules, which are available upon request. Players must follow the instructions of the dealer and floor staff at all times. Buy-ins, blinds, and tournament structures are set by the venue and may vary. We reserve the right to modify game formats, schedules, and structures at any time.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardclub Boomerang shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the venue or participation in any activities. You enter and use the venue at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. We do not warrant that the venue will be available at all times or that services will be uninterrupted.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and intellectual property associated with Cardclub Boomerang are owned by us and may not be used without prior written consent. This includes the venue name, logo, website content, and promotional materials. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any materials without permission.

8. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the venue and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Please review these policies to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in those policies.

9. Governing Law and Contact

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
