Satellite Qualifiers

Win your seat into the Monthly Championship through our weekly $50 satellites. The top 10% of each satellite field advance to the Main Event. Satellites run every Thursday evening.

The Monthly Championship

Our flagship event brings together Sydney's most serious poker players for a two-day battle with a $1,100 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool. The structure is deep enough to reward skill, patience, and disciplined play rather than short-stack shoving.

Every entrant receives a 30,000 starting stack and plays 30-minute levels. The final table is streamed on our internal screens, and all players enjoy complimentary dinner and drinks throughout the event.

Professional Dealers

All tournaments are dealt by experienced professionals who maintain pace and accuracy. There are no self-dealt games at Cardclub Boomerang.

Structured Blinds

Our blind structures are designed to allow skill to prevail, with gradual increases and no excessive antes. Levels range from 20 to 60 minutes depending on the tournament, and antes are introduced only in later stages.

Tournament Rules & Etiquette

Know Before You Play

House Rules

All tournaments follow standard poker tournament rules with a few house-specific adjustments to keep the game smooth and fair.

  1. No cell phones at the table
  2. One player per hand
  3. Chips must remain visible at all times
  4. Cards must stay above the table

Late Registration

Late registration is available for the first two levels of most tournaments. Players arriving late receive a full starting stack, so they are never disadvantaged by a late arrival.

Freezeout events do not allow re-entries. If you are eliminated, your tournament is over for that day.
